World Nursery Rhyme Week

Monday 07th November 2016

To celebrate World Nursery Rhyme Week we’ve collected a selection of colouring pages for some well-known nursery rhymes. To help your kids learn the nursery rhyme, a good idea is to sing-along to the words together while they are colouring in the pictures. Nursery rhymes play an important role in early childhood development by helping children master key skills such as language and communication.

Here is a selection of our favourite nursery rhymes:

Jack and Jill

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.

Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty together again.

Cat And The Fiddle (Hey Diddle Diddle)

Hey diddle diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon.
The little dog laughed,
To see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.
