Saturday September 2nd – Warhammer 40k Fate of Konor campaign – 1pm – 5pm – We will have table space available for people to take part in the 40k fate of Konor campaign. We will also have promotional items from the campaign kit to give out. You can find out more information about how the campaign works on the Games workshop website.

Sunday September 3rd – X-wing tournament – 12pm start – Come down and take part in our X-wing tournament using the latest organised play rules found on the fantasy flight games website. Prizes will be from the latest OP kit and the entry fee will be £10, please get in contact with a member of staff to guarantee a space.

Sunday September 10th – Magic Standard showdown – 1pm – 4pm – Standard is a dynamic format where you build decks and play using cards in your collection from recently released Magic sets. Evolving gameplay and fresh strategies make it one of the most fun and popular ways to play Magic. £5 entry, boosters as prizes.

Sunday September 10th – Final fantasy tournament – 1pm – 4pm – Entry for this event will be £10 but includes a pack of FF branded sleeves. The event will be 3 or 4 rounds with boosters and promo cards as prizes for everyone, the top players will get foil versions of the promo cards.

Saturday September 16th – Magic open house – 1pm – 4pm – Set to occur the Saturday before Ixalan Prerelease, this event encourages casual fun for new players and easy, league-style Standard play with a participation promo reward. If you currently play Magic and bring a friend who is new or getting back into the game you will receive a promo card!

Sunday September 17th – Board games – 12:30pm – 4pm – We will be running sheriff of Nottingham in store. We will also have a selection of other board games for you to choose from.

Saturday September 23rd and Sunday 24th – Magic Ixalan pre release – 1pm start – Prereleases are your first chance to crack open packs and play with the newest cards in Magic. The fun takes place at your local game store, emphasizing social gameplay over competition. You’ll experience the thrill of opening Ixalan cards for the first time with other Magic players who enjoy the game just as much as you. Everything you’ll need to play will be provided as part of your entry fee you simply show up and play! Prereleases are Sealed Deck format events, where you build a minimum 40-card minimum deck using the contents of a themed Prerelease Pack (6 boosters and a Premium foil date-stamped promo card) plus basic lands that will be provided to you by the store. After you build your deck, you’ll be randomly paired with another player for a best two-of-three match. Each round you’ll report who won and be paired up with a new player. If you do well, you might win additional booster packs as prizes! Entry for this event will be £23 upfront which will guarantee you a space or you can turn up on the day and if we have space it will be £25.

Saturday September 30th – Yu-Gi-Oh LLDS – 11am – 4.30pm – The Local Legend Duelist Series (LLDS) is a tournament series aimed at competitive Duelists. Those who prove themselves through the various qualifying events will be invited to an exclusive final where they can win special prizes! The LLDS takes place across a number of Regions in Europe and Oceania. Each Region will run Qualifier events with the top-ranked Duelists joining us for a special Finals event at Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series London 2017. This event will cost £7.50 which will be required up front to guarantee a space.
