We’re excited to welcome the Harlow Art Trust to the centre from 11am – 3pm on Saturday 19th October as part of their big Family Arts Day.
The Harlow Art Trust has been working with 18 schools across Harlow to complete a series of projects inspired by the Harlow’s sculptures. The finished projects will be displayed throughout the town centre on the 19th of October in a stunning trail that will run from the Civic Centre, through Central Library, The Harvey Centre and the high street, so that you can see the displays created by Harlow’s schools. Razed Roof, Phoenix and Phoenix Live Lounge will be showing sculptures in their shop windows as part of the trail.
Professional artist Nicola Burrell will also be organising some free workshop activities for families to enjoy on Saturday 19th on the first floor, here at The Harvey Centre, so come down and join the fun!
The event is being organised as part of the nationwide ‘Big Draw Festival’ which, this year celebrates the vital role of creativity on mental health and wellbeing.
